I had a play date with the Brother Scan n Cut today! I discovered many things about it.
1) Scanning away from the window works WAY better!!
2). Cutting fabric works well with a speed of 4, depth of 4…backed fabric or plain fabric!
3). Cutting on the straight or cross grain works best.
I printed a group of stamped images, cut directly and then added a 3mm border and cut mats for these sayings! Worked perfectly for my needs!

I had to find something fun to do today after being out of commission most of the day from a spider bite!!
I took one of the pieces I made last week (post from June 30th) did a weaving with it and played with my stitches on my Janome! I found it hard not to chose more stitches, but thought less was better in this piece! Now for some beading….
